When?
- All photographs must be taken on lands managed by America's State Parks between May 15, 2021, and July 15, 2023.
- Contest entries are accepted from the start of contest on May 15, 2023, 12 a.m. ET to July 15, 2023 11:59 p.m. ET.
- Winners will be announced by December 31, 2023.
How to Submit?
- Entries must be submitted by the original creator.
- Submit photos in JPEG format.
- Ensure that the photo is 3 MB or larger with high resolution (300 DPI) as the winning photos must work in print.
- There is a limit of forty (40) entries total per individual. Additional entries received from any individual beyond the fortieth entry will be void.
- Please allow at least 2-3 business days for moderation.
How are the Photos Judged?
Photos will be judged on the following criteria: originality, artistic composition, technical quality, and whether the photograph showcases the best of America's State Parks camping and outdoor activities.
Who's Eligible to Enter?
- Legal residents of the 50 United States and DC, who are at least 18 years of age and of the age of majority or older in the state of their residence at the time of entry.
- Photographs must be taken by you, and you must have the rights to the photo.
Who's Ineligible to Enter?
- Employees of the participating agencies and sponsors and their family members are not eligible to win prizes.
- Photographs(s) created by someone other than you but submitted by you will be disqualified.
What Not to Do
- Photographs with any watermarks, writing, or symbols of any kind will be disqualified.
- Do not alter or manipulate photos except for cropping, red eye removal, and/or adjustment of contrast and brightness. However, photographic techniques such as HDR, light-painting, and long exposures are allowed.
- No AI generated photos.
- Don't break any laws or rules.
- Don't do anything unsafe.
- Don't photograph anything that is inappropriate, indecent or obscene.

내친김에 요것도 제출했습니다. 가만 보니 미국전체 State Park 에 대상이네요. 여기는 사람관련 Release Form 은 없고 사진설명을 써야 합니다. 가볍게 또 하나 했네요. 참고로 제 사진설명 보여 드립니다 :)
I was hiking with friends near Santa Cruz beach. As we climbed the challenging uphill, hoping to see the vast ocean from the top, one guy suddenly brushed past me and ran ahead. I initially wondered why he would rush to climb this difficult path, but later had a feeling that something beautiful awaited me, so I quickly climbed up, and finally, the breathtaking view of the expansive sea unfolded before me, and there was him resting on a bench. I felt enchanted by the scene, experiencing a sense of freedom and tranquility, and pressed the shutter to capture that moment. I imagined that once he returned home, he would retrieve his long-kept journal and wrote something meaningful to all of us.

생각해보니 작년 4월 출사갔던 곳이 Point Lobos State Park이었는데, 그 때 제 기억으론 회원님들 사진중 좋았던 것들이 꽤 있었는데... 옛 사진들 찾아보시길! 멀리서 응원합니다!!

Title: United with the universe
This is a shot from Point Lobos State Natural Reserve, often referred to as the crown jewel of the central coast of California. It was a very windy day, and it was quite impressive to witness the crashing waves. To capture the distant scenery with the powerful waves in a long exposure without a tripod, this person leaned against the rock. It's amazing to realize that we can become one with anything as needed. By leaning on and supporting each other, we can accomplish something together, which opens up our minds to the vast universe.

I was taking pictures of a shining flower with a dark background to emphasize the contrasting highlights, but it felt like something was missing. Suddenly, a hummingbird appeared in the camera viewfinder, as if completing the last piece of the puzzle. It portrays an image of mutual effort and benefit, where both entities contribute to each other, forming another more meaningful entity.
